The Kirk Church

Filming location for "Let there be rock" official video in July 1977. The church was erected in 1879 and at some point during the late 70s it was deconsecrated and became a concert space. In 1986 the building has been bought by Gretel Pinninger (a dominatrix/fetishist known also as "Madame Lash") and turned into a party venue. In 2022 Pinninger wins planning battle to develop the place in a 26-room boarding house. Real story about the video: it's reported that Bon Scott jumps off the pulpit and breaks his ankle on the landing at minute 4:19.
