Miraval Studios

The Miraval Studios are recording studios located in the Chateau de Miraval, Provence, France. Built on top of the Miraval winery were founded in 1977 by French jazz pianist Jacques Loussier. AC/DC recorded “Blow up your video” album here in summer 1987. They were in operation until the mid-2000s, but remained unused since the acquisition of the estate by actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in 2011. According to some news, Brad Pitt together with Daniel Quintard seems interested to re-open the studios.
